1. Most doggy doo ends up in landfill, not compost
   When you send compostable dog poo bags to landfill, they can’t break down as intended and end up producing methane, a super potent greenhouse gas. But why not compost them? Well, pet poo can contain parasites, something you probably don’t want near that kale you’re growing. Plus, the majority of municipalities don’t accept it in their Green Bin programs.
   
   
2. Recycled plastic produces minimal methane in landfill
   So compared to a biodegradable bag, it’s actually less harmful to the planet once it’s buried in the ground. 
   
   
3. Recycled plastic uses existing resources
   No new fossil fuels needed!
